Intodution to C++

We are going to learn many types ofthings in C++.For example for a leave letter you have a format for C++ programming also has an structure to be followed.C++ is a compiler based programming language, thus it has many compilers across many platforms such as windos,linux,macos,ubuntu,kali and ect etc,...., but for our syllabus we are going cover up only with dev C++ or turbo c++,occording to peoples choice is mostly for Dev C++ since it has many feartures wich are liked by the users.

Histroy of C++

The C programming language has a rich history that spans over four decades.Here's a brief overview:

• 1969-1971: Ken Thompson amd Dennis Ritchie began to work on a new operating system, unix,at Bell labs.They needed a programming language to develop the os and created a language called "B".
• 1971-1972:Ritchie and Thompson expanded B to create a new language "New B", wich was renamed after as "c" .C was desinged to be portable, efficient , and easy to use.
• 1972-1973:C was used to rewrite the UNIX operating system.This led to a surgein popularity , as unix is widely adopted.
• 1978:The first edition of "The C programming language" By Keringhan and Ritchie (also known as K&R) was published.This book became the de facto standard for C programming.
• 1983:The American Standard institute (ANSI) formed a committee to standardize C.This led to the development of ANSI C (C89).
• 1989:The Internationational organization for Standardization (ISO) adopted ANSI C as an iinternational standard (ISO 9899:1990).
• 1990:C continued to evolve, with the introduction of C99 and later C11,wich added new features and improved performance.
• present day:C remains as a widely used language in programming embedded systems and other areas where performance and efficiency are crucial.
